Democrat Congressman Adam Schiff, who has been a driving force behind the Trump/Russia collusion witch hunt from the beginning, has finally made a major concession.
As all sane Americans have known for quite some time, there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin.
Schiff has finally ceded that point.
Check it out…
From The Federalist:
Rep. Adam Schiff conceded Thursday there is still no evidence President Trump or his campaign colluded with Russia to win the election, and made a point of distancing himself from any charges of treason against the president.
Schiff has been driving the Trump-Russia collusion narrative on behalf of his party for months from his seat on the House Intelligence Committee, claiming recently he has seen “more than circumstantial” evidence of collusion. But he offered nothing substantial to back up his claim when pressed on “The View” to get specific, and acknowledged hard proof of collusion may never materialize, even after an intensive and months-long investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller.
“I’ve never used the word treason,” Schiff noted, before listing several “damning” incidents that prove little more than that Russia initiated contact with Trump’s campaign to offer dirt its operatives claimed to have on Hillary Clinton.
“Is it enough for Mueller to bring charges?” host Meghan McCain asked Schiff. “Because if it isn’t enough for Mueller to bring charges, what does that mean? Charges of collusion.”
Fox News Insider has more:
Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice delivered a blunt message to Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif) when both appeared on “The View” Thursday.
Rice expressed the hope that the House Intelligence Committee will soon conclude its investigation into Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election.
"I appreciate what you're doing for the country — but I really hope you can wrap it up," @CondoleezzaRice tells @RepAdamSchiff her hopes for the Russia probe: "The country needs to get back to business, so… my greatest hope is that this gets done." https://t.co/f8u2wc159S pic.twitter.com/WSb4KZkAqJ

“I appreciate what you’re doing for the country, but I really hope you can wrap it up. The country needs to get back to business, so that’s my greatest hope is that this gets done,” she told Schiff.
The audience at the live ABC show mostly applauded her comment. Rice, who also served as national security adviser under President George W. Bush, went on to express her “enormous respect” for Special Counsel Robert Mueller and said he will conduct a “fair” investigation.
Schiff appeared on television 227 times in the last year promiting his Russia-gate nonsense.
-Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) has used the House’s Russia investigation as his big break, becoming a near constant presence on cable TV to raise his profile.
-From January 23, 2017 until February 25, 2018, Rep. Schiff, the Ranking Member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, participated in a whopping 227 television interviews, clocking a cumulative total of 26 hours, 4 minutes, and 10 seconds on television.
-Rep. Schiff participated in 111 interviews with MSNBC for a total time of 12 hours, 5 minutes, and 50 seconds.
-Rep. Schiff participated in 87 interviews with CNN for a total time of 10 hours, 58 minutes, and 50 seconds.
-In comparison to his extensive television appearances, in 2017 Rep. Schiff spoke on the House floor a meager 10 times for a total of 36 minutes, and 29 seconds.
-Likewise, Rep. Schiff participated in House Intelligence Committee open hearings on Russia interference in the 2016 election a grand total of only 13 hours, and 18 minutes.
Time to move on, Schiff. There is zero evidence of collusion.
